NETBALL, TAILORED FOR YOUNG GIRLS

SuperNetters, formerly known as MiniNetters, has evolved since its inception in 2016, growing from a small initiative into a more prominent force in youth netball. The program was originally designed to give young girls an early start in netball, creating a fun and sociable environment for them to develop both on and off the court. Now, as SuperNetters, the focus remains on nurturing young talent but on a larger scale, with an even greater emphasis on the holistic development of the girls who join.

The aim of SuperNetters is not only to enhance netball skills but also to instill important values such as teamwork, good sportsmanship, and confidence-building. These netball sessions are crafted to be enjoyable while encouraging physical fitness and mental growth. The girls are taught to play as a team, respect others, and build self-esteem, which are key takeaways that extend beyond the sport.
SuperNetters offers structured coaching sessions tailored to various age groups, ensuring that the training aligns with each group’s physical development and social maturity. These age-specific sessions focus on developing both physical abilities and social interaction skills, fostering an environment that supports both athletic and personal growth.

In partnership with Netball Scotland, SuperNetters plays an active role in advancing the sport at a grassroots level. By collaborating closely with these organisations, SuperNetters contributes to the development of netball in Scotland, ensuring that girls not only learn the game but also have the opportunity to grow as individuals within the sport’s framework.

The rebranding to SuperNetters reflects this ambition, signifying that they are no longer a “mini” initiative but a growing community with a big impact.
